Healthcare If you are on a course lasting 6 months or more, you are entitled to free medical treatment from the National Health Service (NHS). If your course lasts for 6 months or less, it is advisable to take out health insurance unless you come from a EU country or a country with a reciprocal agreement for free health care in the UK.
